IAS News :: December 2005 Newsletter

Welcome

Welcome to the last IAS E-newsletter of 2005.

December dispatches are usually spaces for roundups of the best and the worst of the year gone by, for countdowns, and sugar-coated nostalgia. You won't find much of that in this e-newsletter. With a tumultuous year full of change and transition behind us, we at the IAS are looking squarely ahead: to a rapidly approaching application deadline for the winter round of grants to radical writers and translators, to a spring issue of Perspectives on Anarchist Theory, and to RAT 2006!

In order to continue moving forward—contributing, however modestly, to the development of a contemporary anarchism able to confront, trash, and transform the systems of domination and oppression that stratify the globe—the IAS needs your support. Below you will find an appeal for the IAS's 2005 fund-raising campaign. Whether you have donated in the past or are thinking about donating for the first time this year, know that your contribution is greatly appreciated, no matter how large or small. If you are able, please take the time to contribute over the coming weeks in order to help us meet our fund-raising goal by the end of January 2006. We thank you in advance, and we thank all those people, listed below, who have already donated.
